Course Summary
IOSH Managing Safely is a course designed for those who are responsible for the day to day welfare of employees, visitors, clients, suppliers and contractors whilst on Business premises. The course will deliver a varied scope of elements, such as how to effectively assess risk and will ensure that organisational statutory duties and best practice of Health and Safety in the workplace are easily incorporated into day to day life.
This course comprises of seven core modules which will require a study period of at least 18 hours with a formal assessment and additional work-based project.
There is a written assessment and a project that has to be handed in to GTG in order to be certified for the IOSH Managing Safely course you must pass both written exam and the project.
Course Prerequisites
There are no entry criteria for this course, however it is more suitable for candidates in (or aiming for) a managerial or supervisory role.
Pre‑Course Registration Requirement
All delegates are required to complete pre‑course registration no later than 48 hours before the course start time. This ensures we can complete mandatory registration with IOSH. Delegates who do not complete registration at least 24 hours before the course will not be admitted, and anyone arriving on the day without having submitted the required details will be turned away, as same‑day registration is not possible. It is the responsibility of the booking party to provide accurate delegate email addresses so that registration communications reach the correct individuals.

Online courses are instructor led and delivered through Microsoft Teams, a physical workbook will be posted to you prior to this course so please provide your postal address at time of booking.
Please note that IOSH Certificates can take 4-6 weeks to arrive.

People within an organisation who will be, or are currently, responsible for managing Health and Safety within their working capacity, i.e. Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders.
This course offers a good grounding in key Health and Safety responsibilities.
